People dancing in the street to a groovy reggae beat
Yet everything in life is bitter sweet
Sitting in a rum bar won't get you very far
You think life's a big house and a fancy car
But your heart can be lonely
Though you have life and plenty
Moving with everyone to the cemetery
You need Jesus in the plan to direct this island
It's not all about sea shore and sand
You got to treat the children right
Let them have an insight
It all about the blood of Jesus Christ
So hear me now my brother
You need to know the Saviour
To make everything alright
This island needs Jesus
This island needs Jesus
He's the mighty King of Kings
He's the conquering Lord of Lord's
This island needs Jesus
This island needs Jesus
Come along and sing the praises to our king
Members of Parliament and Heads Government
To get it right won't cost you scent
Salvation is free, it's here for you and me
Jesus paid the blood at Calvary
Sing praises unto him
Let's glorify the king
Magnify and Bless his holy name
Teach Jesus in the school let them know this is cool
Let His word be established don't be a fool.
