Hero

The lyrics move between hope and disappointment. The speaker feels close to heaven, yet says heaven does not hear them. People claim a hero can save everyone, but the speaker refuses to wait passively and imagines escaping together. The mood is urgent and uncertain, with hope still present but not fully trusted.

“Heaven don’t hear me” suggests feeling ignored or unable to reach help. “Hold on to the wings of the eagles” is a dramatic image of being carried toward freedom or safety; it may describe escape rather than a literal flight. The contrast between a world of “killing and blood spilling” and the promise that love will save us challenges an easy, comforting belief.

The speaker sends love but doubts it can solve the world’s problems, especially because it is not “the love of a hero.” That line can mean ordinary care feels too small beside violence and fear, or that the speaker is unsure what kind of love is powerful enough. “Fly away” might express hope for a better future, a wish to leave danger behind, or avoidance of problems that cannot be fixed. The lyrics leave that tension unresolved.
