I'm looking on the bright side
Trusting all in Him
Leaning on my Savior
When my light grows dim
Though the way be thorny
And the mountain steep
I'll keep on looking on the bright side
'Cause God my soul will keep
I'm just looking on the bright side
All along the way
Because soon I'll see the shadows
Just merging into day
I'll keep looking on the bright side
See my Savior's face
All of my cares and sorrow
All will fade away
I'm looking on the bright side
Though the shadows fall
God within those shadows
He watcheth over all
He's always near His children
Shield from every foe
He gives me peace and comfort
Down in this world below
That's why I'm looking on the bright side
All along the way
Because soon I'll see the shadows
Just merging into day
I'll keep looking on the bright side
See my Savior's face
All of my cares and sorrow
All will fade away
I'm looking on the bright side
All along the way
Because soon I'll see the shadows
Just merging into day
I'll keep looking on the bright side
See my Savior's face
All of my cares and sorrow
All will fade away
I say, my cares and sorrow
All will fade away
Don't you know my cares and sorrow
All will fade away
