Lyrics
It was summer 02
I walked in a room
Corner to corner
Mop and a broom
There was this girl
And every day she'd sing this same old song
Thought about taking her out
Not for a drink but for the stroll
But didn't 'cause I'm lazy
Learned to live with it
Think it made me crazy
For a shit job
It wasn't the worst
Wasn't the last like it wasn't the first
For a shit job
It wasn't the worst
Wasn't the last like it wasn't the first
Summer 03
And I had a job
Breaking pencils in a factory
With Mexican Rob
One day the boss said
"Hey before you go
Are you dancing
Or are you just swinging to and fro?"
Grabbed him by the neck
Told him tomorrow
He'd better have a cheque
But for a shit job
It wasn't the worst
Wasn't the last like it wasn't the first
For a shit job
It wasn't the worst
Wasn't the last like it wasn't the first
For a shit job
It wasn't the worst
Wasn't the last like it wasn't the first
For a shit job
It wasn't the worst
Wasn't the last like it wasn't the first
