VERSE 1:
Well lookie here people I got a new six string
And here's the first song I ever wrote upon this thing
I was sittin' in my room half mystified and bored
And wrote a song that praises the Lord
Maybe it'll be as big as kumbaya
Or maybe I should've left my pen and paper in the drawer
It's all about a man whose faith has been restored
And wrote a song that praises the Lord
CHORUS:
Lord I am so thankful for getting this guitar
Yes I am so thankful for taking me this far
VERSE 2:
Well this guitar is awesome and never out of tune
And I play it for the people out underneath the moon
And I lead 'em all to Jesus with the melody and chords
Of a song that praises the Lord
(Chorus)
INTRO (x2)
(Chorus)
VERSE 2
Of a song that praises the Lord
Of a song that praises the Lord
