It's taken me a while to get my bearings
Figure out the way that I should go
Got lost so many times - almost gave up caring
Leaving me with nothing left to show
But I never lost faith in me
And all that I could be
Been saving the best for last
Not worried about the past
So much to be done in the days to come
And I'm saving the best for last
It's taken us a while to learn to smile
I wasn't always nice to be around
We tried so many times to go the extra mile
While each of us were standing our own ground
But I never lost faith in you
I know we're going to make it through
Been saving the best for last
Not worried about the past
We're gonna have fun in the days to come
'Cause I'm saving the best for last
Here I am better than ever
Here I am better than ever
Here I am
Now you're in for a surprise
You're gonna see it with your own two eyes
Been saving the best for last
Not worried about the past
We're gonna have fun in the days to come
'Cause I'm saving the best for last
Been saving the best for last
Not worried about the past
Lots of tunes to be sung in the days to come
And I'm saving the best for last
Saving the best for last
Saving the best for last
