Lyrics
She bid him farewell
As he sailed away
In search for good fortune by sea.
And when he'd come home
They would marry that day
And live in a sweet lovers dream.
But the winds blew hard
And the skies turned black
The ship, she was tossed on the sea.
All lives were lost
There was no turning back
A storm that was destiny.
Years went by
Not a day did she cry
Waiting and hoping in vein.
And then in a dream
A bitter sweet dream
She saw her young love once again.
Take my hand
And follow me
Past the rising shore.
And so through the mist
She followed him
And never was seen ever more.
On a silver moon night
With the stars shinning bright
The maiden and sailor are seen.
Like jewels in the mist
They dance on the waves
And live in a sweet lovers dream.
