"But he lives up at North Pole in the ice and snow"
"And it's nearly bedtime now, it's just too far to go"

So I couldn't get to Santa's house but I had a great idea
It was Christmas Eve and Santa's coming here
So I put out chocolate biscuits right next to the tree
And carrots for the reindeer and a present, just from me
Early the next morning, I raced down to the tree
And there I found a letter from Santa just for me
"Thank you for my present, what a lovely thing to do"
"You're a very special child. Oh yeah, the reindeer says thanks too"
