Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Used to trade songs on burned CDs
Now we trade opinions on the video feed
The digital world can suck you in
But in the end you make a lot of fake friends
Now donโt get me wrong, technology is cool
But when I really think about it I start to miss the old school
[Chorus]
Cause back in the day we had CD players
Before smartphones we had the flip phone razr
Weโd go to Blockbuster and have a movie night
And we could keep up with texts because we had T9
After school weโd practice skateboard tricks
With our car windows down blasting Pop Punk hits
Staying up late playing super smash brothers
Truly those days, were like no other
[Verse 2]
Back when MySpace was all we had
Everybody followed their favorite bands
Now we have all of itโ on our phones
And it follows us wherever we go
Now donโt get me wrong, technology is cool
But when I really think about it I start to miss the old school
[Chorus]
Cause back in the day we had CD players
Before smartphones we had the flip phone razr
Weโd go to Blockbuster and have a movie night
And we could keep up with texts because we had T9
After school weโd practice skateboard tricks
With our car windows down blasting Pop Punk hits
Staying up late playing super smash brothers
Truly those days, were like no other
[Bridge]
All time low and MCR
The All American Rejects had won my heart
Today I hear music and itโs not the same
Is just me or do you miss the old days?
[Chorus]
Because back in the day we had CD players
Before smartphones we had the flip phone razr
Weโd go to blockbuster and have a movie night
And we could keep up with texts because we had T9
After school weโd practice skateboard tricks
With our car windows down blasting Pop Punk hits
Staying up late playing super smash brothers
Truly those days, were like no other
