Lyrics
Not my will but yours be done Hey consider this tree it's pleasing to
the eye and good for you and I With trees among the garden we have access
Is he holding out?
Told us not to take of it or life we'd have to be without
Deception on the fruit's perception It ain't taste as well as it seemed
Crafty the enemy's illumination scheme Blocking blessings by perception
You don't have all that you need do you
Go after your wants and you'll have all you ever need
The bottomless pit still longs for the feed The enemy on his belly from dust he will only
eat He will always be in defeat
So his striving is underneath Pay attention his plans ain't different
from the beginning We see it again and again
Jesus went in the wilderness to show us how it should've went
Lust of the flesh lust of the eye the pride of life
Stones into bread throw yourself down and all the might
Same temptations as the story in Genesis To take the fruit there's no demise
And God is equivalent we opened our eyes Causing a spiritual death we all create our
own set of morals But God we went against mistaken
A serpent for fish I'll take a stone over bread
Leaning on all that I see but little do I understand
Crafty the enemy's illumination scheme Blocking blessings by perception
You don't have all that you need do you
Go after your wants and you'll have all you ever need
The bottomless pit still longs for the feed The promise is satisfaction the paradox is
The greed Like finished surgery but the Procedure is
Incomplete It didn't work God is saying the Remedy
Is me So many coping what's lost without Realization
Its free Never taught how to be selfish and Conceited
As a child Still the traits that you can find in Every
Child you find around Are you taking life away From them by teaching
Ways that they should go about or do you Spare the rod and let your kid
Do what they're feeling now? Submit to God Resist the devil he will
Flee via persistence Satan knows the word but All he needs from
You is independence Christ not only knew the Word but followed
Through afterwards in it But Adam and Eve Didn't deficient
Amen
