Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Lift your eyes, the day is coming
When this world shall pass away
We will see the holy city
Like a bride on her wedding day
Then with God, with us forever
No more tears nor death nor pain
Where He is is where we're going
New creation, earth and heaven
[Verse 2]
He whoโs seated on the throne said
See I'm making all things new
Write these words across your heart
And all my Word is good and true
He's the Alpha and Omega
Thะต beginning and the end
Comะต and drink the living water
Never more to thirst again
[Verse 3]
No more need for sun or moonlight
For our lamp shall be the Lamb
His glory lights the nationsโ footsteps
Entering to lay their crowns
Fling ye wide oh gates of heaven
Never to be closed again
Jesus is our King forever
By His blood we're welcomed in
[Bridge]
Fling ye wide oh gates of heaven
Never to be closed again
Jesus is our King forever
New creation, earth and heaven
