The Qur'an is the last book of Allah. It was revealed to the Prophet
Muhammad over a period of 23 years. The Qur'an is different from
Every other book in this world because it is the only one that was
Not the work of any human being. Allah the Almighty has revealed
Other books to us such as the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David
And the Gospel given to Jesus, peace be upon them all. But these
Scriptures have all been changed by people in one way or another
Since they were revealed, leaving the Qur'an as the last word
Unchanged and the only sure guidance from Allah. The Qur'an was
Revealed to Prophet Muhammad who could neither read nor write. It
Was first brought by the angel Gabriel during a night in Ramadan
While Muhammad was in retreat in a
Cave on Mount Hira just outside Mecca
