Gentle Shepherd, come and lead us
For we need You to help us find our way
Gentle Shepherd, come and feed us
For we need Your strength from day to day
There's no other we can turn to
Who can help us face another day
Gentle Shepherd, come and lead us
For we need You, Lord, we need You
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
There's just something about that name
Master, Saviour, Jesus
Like the fragrance after the rain
Jesus, Jesus, oh, Jesus
Let all Heaven and Earth proclaim
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away
But there's something about that name
I will serve Thee because I love Thee
You have given life to me
I was nothing before You found me
You have given life to me
Heartaches, broken pieces
Ruined lives are why You died on Calvary
Your touch was what I longed for
You have given life to me
Jesus, we just want to thank You
Jesus, we just want to thank You
Jesus, we just want to thank You
Thank You for being so good
Thank you, Lord, thank You for music and singing
And for giving us so much to sing about
Thank You for simple things, the sun coming up in the morning
Rain on the ground from the sky
For sleep on our bodies at dawn, and good meal when we're hungry
Thank You, we can feel things, and we can laugh and cry
Thank You for the good times, but thanks for the hard times too
That keep us depending on You
Thank You for homes and children
And for giving us the chance to know what it's like to be loved
But most of all, thanks for giving us Your son
Help us to love like family
Lord, we just wanna thank You
Thank You for being so good
Thank You for being so good
Thank You for being so good
