Truth Hurts

The repeated idea that love can be “a blessing or a curse” leaves room for mixed feelings: love may bring joy, but it can also make loss more painful. “Truth hurts” could refer to discovering betrayal, hearing a difficult explanation, or simply facing the end of the relationship.
