Got a tale to tell
The gospel of mark
The truth dwell
In the beginning
John came to pave
Way for the lord
Making hearts brave
Dressed in camel's hair
With locusts to eat
By the jordan river
He didn't skip a beat
Repent and be baptized
His cry
For the kingdom of heaven is nigh
Jesus from nazareth town
Jordan river
He was baptized down
Heavens opened
The spirit descended
Beloved Son
He was commended
Heavens opened
The spirit descended
Beloved Son
He was commended
Into the desert
Forty days sent
With wild beasts
Angels were lent
After john's arrest
He began to preach
The time is fulfilled
Was His reach
Repent and believe
In the gospel
He said
With authority and grace
He led
Simon andrew james and john
Left their nets
To follow Him on
In capernaum
On the sabbath day
He taught in the synagogue
Showing the way
A man with an impure spirit cried out
Jesus rebuked him
Without a doubt
Be silent come out
He firmly stated
The people amazed
His power not debated
His fame spread wide
Throughout the land
In houses and streets
His healing hand
Cleansed the lepers
Made the paralytic walk
With sinners
Tax collectors
He would talk
Message was clear
The kingdom was near
In jesus
God's love was here
Now let's end with a word on salvation
In jesus we find our foundation
He died for our sins
Was raised from the dead
Believe in me
He has said
So if you're hearing this
And your heart is stirred
Remember salvation
Is found in
His
Word
Confess with your mouth
Believe in your heart
In jesus
A new life you can start
Lord we thank you for the truth of your son
In him the victory is won
Guide us to live in
Your love and light
And to share the gospel
Both day and night
Believe in him
Give your heart to him and say
Amen
