Well, alright. Presenting for the first time, in Greenwich Village
The battle of the groups. Right now, the two groups that will
Be competing for the Wild Turkey, she's backstage. On my left
Ladies and gentlemen, from Music City, USA, Nashville, Tennessee
The fabulous Red Nabs. On my right, from the Motor City, Detroit
Michigan, the fabulous Two Tones. Andy Stein on saxophone
This is a sexist nightmare...
As I passed by a fine hotel
I saw a little girl, she sure looked swell
I gave her the eye, I tried to carry on
A Cadillac pulled up, Lord, she was gone
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
That should have been me
Drivin' that Cadillac
A little later on, about five minutes past
I saw a woman that had a whole lotta class
I was tryin' to write her name in my book
Her husband pulled up, gave me a real dirty look
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
You know that shoulda been me
Bein' her chaperone
From the North Side...

Oh, that's jazz!
Down on the corner was a real sharp cat
He had three-hundred-dollar platforms
On and a hundred-dollar cowboy hat
He was standin' on his curb by a fancy Dynaflow
A voice from inside said, "Come on, Daddy, let's go!"
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
That shoulda been me, I swear it
Drivin' that Dynaflow
Here's the saddest part
Ate a bowl of chili, I felt OK
I passed by a fine cafรฉ
I saw a strange gentleman eatin' a fat T-bone steak
He had a waitress stand by his side feedin' him ice cream and cake
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
Oh Lord, that shoulda been me
Good God! Eatin' ice cream and cake
It shoulda been me
With that real fine chick
It shoulda been me
Gettin' my natural kick
That shoulda been me, baby
Lovin' those crazy chicks

Thank you, Commander. A stellar performance on the vocal
Indeed. But he can play piano too, he really can
