The speaker is attracted to someone who seems confident and mysterious, and wants to understand what she is really like. The lyrics move from curiosity to a direct, intimate question. Although the speaker admits he could be mistaken, he expects that time together will reveal the answer.

“Mystery” means something the speaker cannot yet understand, while “I see you very well” suggests that he believes he can read the person despite that uncertainty. Her “glow” may be a way of describing her appealing presence or the excitement he feels around her. “Take an aim at your heart” is figurative: he wants to reach her emotionally, not literally.

The repeated question about closing her eyes during lovemaking may be simple curiosity, but it could also hint at wanting to know whether she is fully absorbed in the moment—or thinking of something else.
