Never give up โ Dj Tomekk x Mop
Ist all real where I come from
You would never know how I feel where i come from
Life is like a double edge blade just to get a gage
You can get the front page where I come from
I aint here to change your views
And I dont want to bring bad news
The worlds leaders are now at each others neck
When f trump hits the JFK effect
Yo I am a soldier that holds firm posessed with a vision
General with a chestful of ribbons
Sidewalk executive blessed with a vision
To run for everything except for a prison
I am from the gutter where the other motherfuckers feel tension
The part of brooklyn they don`t mension
Started from the basement they say I`ll never make it
Till I started baniging the pavement
REF:
My people tryin to warn me police staying on me โ never give up
And we be out here all day stay out stay out of homes way โ never give up
Ist gon be what ist gon be, however you want play โ never give up
But if you gotta go the hard way do what your heart say โ never give up
Let us rewind to a time when our mind was in prison
A time where we grind for position
Keep in mind we still bilnd to their vision
But we aint got to follow up behind these politicians up
United nations โ strong minds they wont mention โ
too busy trying to hold on to their pension
listen, divinding conquers, strip us of hope
supply us with dope and gave us the rope
impeach the president I aint never break bread with em
worldwide keep wanting to head for him
the children of the future and I am scared for them
I wish mama lived and could say a prayer for `em
I am in rear form but i care for em
Gangsta gangsta but I am still here for em
So whoever voted for donald trump
Should have voted for forrest gump
REF:
My people tryin to warn me police stay on me โ never give up
And we be out here all day stay out stay out of homes way โ never give up
Ist gon be what ist gon be, however you want play โ never give up
But if you gotta go the hard way do what your heart say โ never give up
Cuts:
Life is hard you got to put your foot down
The harder the fight
But I am back here to let y`all know
I got to maintain
But I am back here to lett y `all know
M.o.p. now Numma Eyns
But I am back caught up in the hustle where the guns go blast
And remember Tomekk is like the future of the funk
