Lyrics
From the house, out the shed to the backyard
Every tool they will need now in hand
Digging up their mother and their dear old dad
To answer all the questions that they have
The storm's left the yard a muddy mixture
A shallow grave of bloody rot decayed
Your recently deceased folks open up to you
With your first copper tasting of familiar DNA
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Ambitious goal of these psychotic wretches
Has left this empty house of mutilated in their wake
Turning on the people closest to them was their scheme
Stirring secrets from the cellar, their inheritence to take
Now the genealogy gets messy
Faltering, the family frame a wreck
Their lineage lines the soil, continue digging on
Exposing a new layer of family pockets to inspect
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Raking up mud as the family plot thickens
Witness the absence of soul
The gluttonous greed that is taking its toll
Selfish and murderous goal
Feeling betrayed, in blood they write themselves into the will
Feeble minds and empty eyes
Patri-matri-infanticide
The family jewels breed impotence
And treacherous ambivalence towards
What they want and what they lack
Ignorant stabs into the back
Deceptive murders haste and quicken
By greed the family plot will thicken...
