Lyrics
Steppin' in the barn, everybody steps back
Gotta make a way for the Saddlesax
Glitter mane golden horseshoe slacks
Rhythm of the rodeo rodeoing the brass
Stable to stage comes the steed with the skills
Maestro of the music with his effortless fills
Reining in solos cashing carrots for bills
Chaining gallops into canter notes however he wills
Chops so sharp that he'll break the fence
Notes so slick they corral suspense
Let the show commence as the horse presents
Saddlesax's flow is pure excellence
Blowin' so clean is the baritone beast
Pop, fusion and jazz equine tenor elite
Hoof beats hittin' like a metronome beat
Yea the melodies sweet, you better get on your feet
(Come on)
(Yea, yea)
Stop...
Time to toot my horn
Smooth like hip hop mixed with clip clop
Watch as I perform
Sax lines buckin' like a blues stampede
Galloping grooves at record speed
Taking "Giant Steps" toward "A Love Supreme"
With a locked in pocket guaranteed
I'm Charlie Parker meets Kenny G
Plus Coltrane Mobley and Adderly
Rollins Hawkins and Turrentine
Dexter Gordon's got nothin' on me
If you don't under Stan, I'm as good as it Getz
Serving the swing with the quarter note rests
No opinion, I'm just stating the facts
If you're searching for the GOAT it's Saddlesax
