Lyrics
Those swingin' teens
Well, they come from New Orleans
Now what they do they keep a rhythm
Like a sewing machine
Eat corn grits and mustard greens
You know last year or was it year before
I heard three cats singin' on a talent show
They had down home harmonies
Sounded good to me
Well, they all named Jimmy
And they sure are clean
Jimmy Jones, Jimmy Brown
And the bass singer Jimmy Green
They keep a big hit record way up
In the top fifteen
When they hit the stage
With their blue jeans on
They look like somethin'
That feel from the twilight zone
And from the first note on them cats are gone
Just listen to 'em
Singin' them Blues
They got me rockin' child down in my shoes
Just a-twistin' and a-turnin'
They sure know what to do
Those swingin' teens
Where they from?
From New Orleans
Now what they do?
They keep their rhythm
Like a sewin' machine
They keep a big hit record way up
In the top fifteen.
