Moyo wa a Malawi ambiri lero

Kamadzipatsa udindo ofunafuna chakudya
Cha ichocho ndi banja lake
A Malawi ambiri ndife olimbikira ngati mbewa
Koma mbali inayi kuli khoswe
Amene mu zochitika zonse ndi chitsiru ndithu
Amasankha kukakhala mu nyumba ya munthu
Ndipo amaswa ti ana take mwini nyumbayo asadabereke mwana ndi m'modzi yemwe
Moyo wake umakhala wobisala
Ndipo amaoneka pomwe akufuna kukaba chakudya ku kitchen
Kapena ku store
Amakhala wonenepa
Wamaonekedwe ngati mtogoleri
Koma mbewa olo itapusa maka
Ikatenga khoswe kukhala mtsogoleri
Yawononga zonse
Chifukwa awiriwa ngosiyana zofuna
Atsogoleri athu lero
Ambiri mwa Iwo ndi makoswe
Chimene adziwa ndi kuba, kupha ndi kuwononga
These are crimes against humanity
We shall fight against oppression
These are crimes against humanity
These are we shall demand our freedom
We shall demand our rights
We shall demand our humanity
We shall demand our freedom
Dr Martin Lusa king junior once said
The real peace is not the absence of conflict and values
But the presence of equity and justice
When we speak of crimes against humanity
We are talking about situations that force people to live without peace, equality and justice
The political contract between the people and government
Ensures that people surrender some of their rights
In return to government providing them with security, peace and justice
I mean the social contract, the people pay taxes to government
In return to government providing them with services
Yet when the people fail to honour their duty in paying taxes
They get fined endlessly
But right now the government is collecting taxes and failing to provide services
There's no electricity, there's no water
The public funded MDC is a DPP propaganda machine
Our brothers and sisters are dying in the hospitals
Because they're no drugs and there's no electricity for the life supporting machines
By collecting taxes and failing to provide services
Government is stealing from the people
The government is a thief
This is a crime against humanity
The government is a thief
These are crimes against humanity
These are crimes against humanity
We shall fight against oppression
These are crimes against humanity
These are we shall demand our freedom
We shall demand our rights
We shall demand our humanity
We shall demand our freedom
And the same government is instructing ADMARK to buy maize from farmers at K5000 kwacha bag
But it takes much more to produce that bag
This is not just exploitation
These are crimes against humanity
Yet when people march and demand for their rights
They get shot and murdered for simplexising their rights
These are crimes against humanity
When a government minister steals millions public money
They get away with it
Yet we sentence a villager to ten years in prison for stealing a chicken
To feed his starving family
As a country, as a people
We have to search hard in our souls
We continue to plander public resources at capital hill
While little children from the villages continue to die
Because their parents cannot afford to buy panado
Imagine how much the five hand building that was squandered during cash get would have built
How many hospitals?
How many schools or all those of farm produce demand how good?
And you say we're religious nations?
A God fearing nation?
God fearing nation my foot
Yet we watch while these children die helplessly
Ndi zomvetsa chisoni kuti alimi athu
Akumawuzidwa kuti limani nandolo
Akalima nandolo uja popanda owagula
Limani chimanga, chimanga chija 2000
Kuti agule feteleza
Akuyenera kugulitsa matumba ten kuti agule thumba limodzi la feteleza
Chovuta ndichani kukayang'ana mmisika ya mbewuzi
Nzovetsa chisoni ku Area 18 ndi madera ambiri
Kumene anthu akumamwa madzi wosakanikirana ndi nyasi
Kodi inu kwanuko akumabwera amenewo?
Ma black outs amenewa, kwanukotu sakukupezani
Kubedwa mankhwala nzipatala
Mavuto a nkhaninkhani amene tili nawo
Sukulu za zisakasa zimene ana athu akuphuzira
Pamene winawake uko akukatenga chi 64 million
Kuti akagule mipando yamu office
Kodi abale inu mudzamva liti?
Kodi ndi ndani mudamumva kuti amakumbukilidwa mpaka lero
Chifwa choti adali wolemera kwambiri?
Nchifukwa chani mumakonda zinthu zabwino kwambiri
Mu dziko losawuka kwambiri?
These are crimes against humanity
We shall fight against oppression
These are crimes against humanity
These are we shall demand our freedom
(We shall demand)
