Lyrics
Sitting at the table, everyone's eyes are glued
To little screens in their hands, man, it's such a mood
We used to have conversations, now it's just a glance
Lost in digital worlds, we don't stand a chance
People leave reviews for things they've never tried
Argue with strangers, let the truth slide
This crazy online madness, it's gone too far
Let's put down the phones, be who we are
Talk to me, put down that phone
Let's go back to the way we used to know
Face to face, heart to heart
Let's get back to where we were at the start
We used to laugh and chat, now it's silent nights
Scrolling through the noise, missing out on life's sights
People posting pictures of a life they never lead
Trading real love and friends for likes and threads
We're missing out on moments, losing precious time
Caught in a web of pixels, it should be a crime
Let's break free from this screen-lit cage
And turn a real-life, honest page
Talk to me, put down that phone
Let's go back to the way we used to know
Face to face, heart to heart
Let's get back to where we were at the start
Let's meet at the coffee shop, leave the phones behind
Look each other in the eye, see what we can find
There's a world outside, waiting to explore
Let's reconnect, find what we're looking for
We've lost the art of talking, now it's just a text
We used to dream together, now we're just perplexed
Caught up in the madness, losing touch with real
It's time to change the channel, feel what we feel
Talk to me, put down that phone
Let's go back to the way we used to know
Face to face, heart to heart
Let's get back to where we were at the start
Talk to me, yeah, let's make a stand
Put down that phone, hold my hand
Let's laugh and talk, under the moon and sun
Get back to living, having real fun
Talk to me, put down that phone
Let's go back to the way we used to know
Face to face, heart to heart
Let's get back to where we were at the start
