Lyrics

(Scatting heard) I was working in the lab, late one night When my eyes beheld an eerie sight For my monster from his slab, began to rise And suddenly to my surprise (He did the mash) He did the monster mash (The monster mash) It was a graveyard smash (He did the mash) It caught on in a flash (He did the mash) He did the monster mash Uh From my laboratory in the castle east To the master bedroom where the vampires feast The ghouls all came from their humble abodes To get a jolt from my electrodes (He did the mash) They did the monster mash (The monster mash) It was a graveyard smash (He did the mash) It caught on in a flash (He did the mash) They did the monster mash Alright, alright, alright, yeah Alright, alright, alright, yeah The zombies were having fun The party had just begun The guests included Wolfman, Dracula and son The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds Uh Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds The coffin-bangers were about to arrive With their vocal group, 'The Crypt-Kicker Five' Uh Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring Seems he was troubled by just one thing (He did the mash) They did the monster mash (The monster mash) It was a graveyard smash (He did the mash) It caught on in a flash (He did the mash) They did the monster mash (He did the mash) They did the monster mash (The monster mash) It was a graveyard smash (He did the mash) It caught on in a flash (He did the mash) They did the monster mash (He did the mash) They did the monster mash (The monster mash) Yeah boy, It was a graveyard smash (He did the mash) Believe me It caught on in a flash (He did the mash) They all did the monster mash Uh Ha! Uh Ha! Uh, uh Ha! Uh Ha! Uh, uh Ha! Uh Ha! Uh, uh (Wind heard) (Thumbing sounds heard) (Screechingand howling heard) (Wood creaking sounds heard) (Squeaking sounds heard) (Door opening then closing sounds heard) (Slam sounds heard) (Chandelier shaking sounds heard)
