Lyrics
Sold my shack in memphis,
bought me a chevroulet six string in the back and a bottle of jack
And I headed down to mexico way
Singing ooh la la la, oooh la la leyy
Ooh la la la la la it's a beautiful day
Well, I picked up this senorita she was sitting in the golden hay
She said 'I do not speak the English',
I said baby there's nothing that you need to say
I can see that we're going the same way
Singing ooh la la la, oooh la la la leyy
Oooh la la la la la its a beautiful day
Well we rode into Acapulco, and we sat in the desert sun
And I played my guitar and I smoked a
cigar and I said 'This is where I move on'
Sure, she cried by then I was gone
Singing ooh la la la, ooh la la la leyy
Ooh la la la la la It's a beautiful day
Ahh it's a beautiful day
