Darkness weighs heavily upon the land
The mountain peaks soar ominously towards the heavens
After all these years, it is here again
This mysterious whispering in the night
What is hiding there in the gloomy forests?
A storm is gathering
The cold is now biting on the Dark Ridge
Yet, there is hope
For in the midst of this gloom, the guardians of the watch stand ready, up high on the towers
Day after day, night after night
Ready to defend our families and our land with their lives
When they ignite their torches... then may the Goddess have mercy on us
It is the fires of fear that burn there now
May the courage of the watch burn brighter than the light of the flames
For they are our last bastion against that which lies in wait for us in the shadows
And our only hope remains there, there on the Darkenguard
High in the sky, the flames ablaze
To the heavens vast and far
A sign of hope in darkest nights
Each pyre's like a burning star
Bid farewell, fellows
Let's sing the final chant
Shield to shield united through the night
On the Darkenguard
Fearless warriors, valliant hearts
Our gaze as sharp as steel
Nothing to fear, our final fight
We stand as one, prepare to die
Be cautious, fellows
The shadows are awake
Shield to shield united through the night
And if the world's on fire
Together we will pass the flame
Until our ashes reunite, eternalized
And if the world's on fire
I know that we will meet again
Beyond the realms, beyond all time
And if the world's on fire
Together we will pass the flame
Until our ashes reunite, eternalized
And if the world's on fire
I know that we will meet again
Beyond the realms, beyond all time
Immortalized
Fires enlighten the sky
We are the bane of the dark
Rondra, redeem our prayer
Take our side, for we are the Guard
(Fires enlighten the sky) Warriors, rise up, we're the Darkenguard
(We are the bane of the dark) Be the light at the end of our world
(Rondra, redeem our prayer) Hold these towers through the Orkensturm
(Take our side, for we are the Guard) Stand together, for we are the Guard
(Fires enlighten the sky) Warriors, rise up, we're the Darkenguard
(We are the bane of the dark) Be the light at the end of our world
(Rondra, redeem our prayer) Hold these towers through the Orkensturm
(Take our side, for we are the Guard) Stand together, for we are the Guard
And if the world's on fire
Together we will pass the flame
Until our ashes reunite, eternalized (eternalized)
And if the world's on fire
I know that we will meet again
Beyond the realms, beyond all time
Immortalized
