I just scrolled past your number
Kinda made me wonder
If I tried to call you - yeah girl would it still work?
Yeah, we were just a thing for a summer
Wearin' out that old 4Runner
Used to park in dark make your girlfriends wonder where we were
Girl I ain't gonna lie - spent way more time
Gettin' over you than we were together
Best ex I've ever had
Still a little hung up real bad
If you wanna - yeah I wanna run it back baby
I'm still in the same zip code
Podunk - same old, same old
Why the hell'd I ever let you go
I must have been crazy
Best ex with a sundown sinkin' low
Best ex on a gravel road
Should've known - when you said hello
You'd be the best ex I ever had
Best ex I ever had
ย
When you drink too much do you miss me
'Cause that's me on you on whiskey
I don't know why I still drink that all the time
Girl I ain't gonna lie - after all this time
I've had some girl but no, I ain't had no better
Best ex I've ever had
Still a little hung up real bad
If you wanna - yeah I wanna run it back baby
I'm still in the same zip code
Podunk - same old, same old
Why the hell'd I ever let you go
I must have been crazy
Best ex underneath them city lights
Best ex in a 4-wheel drive
Should've known when you said goodbye
You'd be the best ex I ever had
Best ex I ever had
Best ex on the base
Best ex in the motel suite
Best ex for a hundred reasons
Girl I should've known you'd be the
Best ex I've ever had
Still a little hung up real bad
If you wanna - yeah I wanna run it back baby
I'm still in the same zip code
Podunk - same old, same old
Why the hell'd I ever let you go
I must have been crazy
Best ex with a sundown sinkin' low
Best ex on a gravel road
Should've known - when you said hello
You'd be the best ex I ever had
Best ex underneath them city lights
Best ex in a 4-wheel drive
Should've known when you said goodbye
You'd be the best ex I ever had
Best ex I ever had
You'd be the best ex I ever had
