Lyrics
I was sipping the bourbon
She was feeling the Whitney
And I could tell by her makeup
She ain't never been outta the city
I know we just met, but my names Jack
So, what you say we go and close this tab?
Ditch all your friends and slip out the back
Show a city girl 'round the country
Yeah, I just wanna pick you up
Small town living in a big ol' truck
And I don't wanna say too much
Real talk girl, we could fall in love
Somewhere out in Carolina
Got a place where they can't find us
I just wanna pick you up
Small town living, we gonna fall in love tonight
Sunset, it's all whiskey
At the bottom of the bottle you gon' miss me
Sunrise, still tipsy
She driving stick in my F-150
Things you've never done
Places you never been to
Dirt road number one
It takes a 4-wheel drive just to get through
Yeah, I just wanna pick you up
Small town living in a big ol' truck
And I don't wanna say too much
Real talk girl, we could fall in love
Somewhere out in Carolina
Got a place where they can't find us
I just wanna pick you up
Small town living, we gonna fall in love tonight
Tonight, tonight
We gon' fall in love tonight
Tonight, let's ride, we gon' fall in love tonight
Said, "Girl
Tell me, have you ever caught a backroad high?"
She said, "Boy
Guess you're gonna have to show me what that's like"
Yeah, I just wanna pick you up
Small town living in a big ol' truck
And I don't wanna say too much
Real talk girl, we could fall in love
Somewhere out in Carolina
Got a place where they can't find us
I just wanna pick you up
Small town living, we gonna fall in love tonight
