Lyrics
This is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be exceedingly glad
I will lift up mine eyes from whence cometh my help
Which cometh from the Lord, great God Almighty
That will never fail
Can't help but tell what He's done for me
How He lifted my soul and gave me the victory
Set my footsteps to walking right
Gave me eyes to see the light
This is the day that the Lord has made
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised
All honor and glory we'll give to His holy name
Let the heavens rejoice
Let the earth be glad
Let the hills sing forth
Let the seas roar back
Let the heavens praise Him
Let the earth praise Him
Let the sun praise Him
Let the moon praise Him
Let the young praise Him
Let the old praise Him
Let the church rejoice
Let the church rejoice
Let the church rejoice and be exceedingly glad
This is the day that the Lord has made
