Speak of the Devil, he's no friend of mine
To turn from him is what we have in mind
To Hell with the Devil
To Hell with the Devil
ย
I got some battles, uh, I got some issues
I got some problems, yeah, I got some trauma (I do)
Been through the fire, been through the drama (woo!)
I got some enemies, can't even see 'em and they wanna hurt me (woo!)
But God is a friend of me (yeah), I call Him Father
He's giving me purpose (let's go), he's given me therapy
Plus He gone carry me, evil was scaring me, tryna put fear in me
Felt like the planet was running to heresy
Clutching for meaning in darkness and perishing (wow)
You can embarrass me, kill me and bury me
But I know all of it's just temporarily
Bring on the haters, the doubters and Pharisees
I know the spirit within me preparing me
Rise, reach up for the sky
Your wings were made to fly (ooh-ooh-ooh)
This is your time to rise, there's fire in your eyes
You're heaven in disguise (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Let this be your battle cry
To Hell with the Devil
To Hell with the Devil
No fear, no fear, no fear, I got fire some fire inside of my bones
My blood is the kerosene, I'm in my zone
Please tell the demons to leave me alone
They want the body but can't get the soul
Trust in the father and gave 'em control
Satan want smoke, he gon' get it for sure
Live by the lake in a fiery hole
My peace can't be shook (no), I got a joy that can't be took (no)
I read the end of the story
Where God gets the glory, the enemy not a good look
Faced all the battles, we ended with scars
Still, we'll be living amongst all the stars
Heaven and earth come together forever
And ever, the angels are singing the chorus
Rise, reach up for the sky
Your wings were made to fly (ooh-ooh-ooh)
This is your time to rise, there's fire in your eyes
You're heaven in disguise (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Let this be your battle cry
To Hell with the Devil
To Hell with the Devil (this is your battle cry)
To Hell with the Devil
To Hell with the Devil
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (let this be your battle cry)
