Go Let It Out

The lyrics encourage a person to accept themselves and express what they feel instead of holding it inside. The repeated invitation to “let it out” gives the song an energetic, freeing mood. Later, the speaker proposes leaving the city with someone else, suggesting a desire for change and a belief that there is no need to wait for a perfect moment.

“Paint no illusion” seems to mean not pretending that life is better or clearer than it is. “Taste every potion” suggests trying different experiences, though the unusual image leaves its exact meaning open. Princes and kings are pictured as clowns performing in sawdust rings: people who appear powerful may be no more than entertainers in a show. The claim that ordinary people keep—or build—their destiny gives everyday people real influence.

The ending shifts between “let it in” and “don’t let it in.” This tension complicates the simple message of openness: perhaps the speaker is urging people to share feelings while also guarding themselves from harmful influences. “Sister psychosis” may refer to a troubled or confused person, but the lyrics do not explain who she is, so it is best not to treat the phrase as a clear diagnosis or a specific character.
