Lyrics

I follow my friends into a dark house With a spider hanging outside the window We go into class and we barely pass As the swings ring in the winds slow We dress as cowboys young and bold The stories of our childhoods as we grow old We do it now as the black mold Has grown so much over time My name's on the front of a gravestone But here lies no one It's a statement of humanity That everything can come undone We sit around we stand back down We lie asleep we lay back now We implode from all our structured fears And that's when life has begun I climb on top of a playground And reminisce on my younger years While I see the city lights I contemplate while my future appears I think about my seven best friends And the adventures we've had so far Been around the town a lot With the help of Eli's car Wooooooo BOOM My friends We grow older as life bends My friends We grow older as life bends We drive around town and crack jokes all the time It's half past eleven and you ask me to ride We do funny voices and we sing funny songs We drive off the bridge to where the turtles belong Hangin till three in the media room Watchin a movie removin the gloom The bond holds together and drives us all mad The worst becomes better and better times are had I was thinking when I felt the rain on my face The walls in my head space Would all just decayed it's hard to freeze All the rain in the sky when the October air Was just thinking that I was walking through space Or was I just standing by while I was trying to use up all of my time While the spots on my glasses they all stand still When I ride my bike up the massive hill And the people say goodbye I will not hear the sound of the shrill harsh air We lit the 42nd (420P) birthday cake And we all made a couple of mistakes We travel off to different states We see the adventure the life awaits My friends We grow older as life begins My friends We grow older as life begins Bur eat best bur here
