Lyrics
Now I been, well wanted, I take it
Now I been, well wanted, I take in turn
Now I been, well wanted, I done take heat in time
I done lost my eyesight
I'm gone stone-blind
Now when you lose your eyesight, your best friend gone
Now when you lose your eyesight, your best friend gone
Now when you lose your eyesight, your best friend gone
Sometime your own dear people don't want a fool when you home
Now you wanna know your friend and you get down
Now I wanna know your friend, you get down
Now I wanna know your friend, well you get down
They be always asking about you, they don't never come around
Now my mother and my father both dead and gone
Now my mother and my father both dead and gone
Now my mother and my father, they both dead and gone
You know they left me round here I'm still stumbling along
Now I was standing on the corner, I was closed side the wall
Now I was standing on the corner, I was closed side the wall
Now I was standing, I was closed side the wall
Only way I could tell my friend, I had to catch this bar
