Macy, look, as your friend, I care about you and you just need to try new things, you know (mm-hmm)
You need to, like, discover new sounds (uh-huh)
Vocal sounds (uh huh)
To be the best artist that you could be like (uh-huh)
Well-rounded, like Britney Spears
"I Try" is cool and all, but (uh huh)
It'd be a cool twist, like a fresh spin on it (uh-huh) if you was like
I try to say goodbye and I choke, uh
I try to walk away and I... fall โ stumble
Oh, right, right! Right (mm)
Do you got any other suggestions?
Besides change my voice (yeah, you know who was like)
...was like (mmm?) was... like... she's
That Jagged Little Pill album is crazy (oh!)
Alanis Morissette (oh)
Like, and then you'll like ...all the Canadian fans will love you even more
Right! That's what I need, I need Canada
You need Canada
And she's amazing, like, she been havin' that break in her voice, like (uh huh)
You can, you could, you should have that more (oh! The break in my voice)
Yeah (mm, hmm)
And then, when you, like, sing
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I try
Like, you know, like that (oh, right, right, so, change my voice)
Yeah, you probably shouldn't even sing (that'sโ) your own song
You should just sing her song 'cause it's (oh) ... her song is a lot stronger, yeah
Do you have any, like, good suggestions?
Um
You gotta add, like, some of them Shakira flavors
Oh, right
Like
I try, I try to walk away, to walk away (oh)
But I stumble, da-da da da-de-da-di
