Soldier of the light, soldier of the light
Love is my weapon, the Holy Ghost is my might
Soldier of the light, soldier of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
Once I was walking in darkness and sin
Peace in my soul was my only end
Then Jesus called me now I'll never be the same
'Cause He let me know this life isn't a game
So with my shield of faith I'm ready for the fight
I'm proud to be serving as a soldier of the light โ I'm a
Soldier of the light, soldier of the light
Love is my weapon, the Holy Ghost is my might
Soldier of the light, soldier of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
Marching all around us, though we sometimes can't see
All the forces of hate, the evil enemy
So put your trust in Jesus, all your worries needless be
'Cause if you're one with the Lord He'll give you victory
So take your shield of faith, get involved in the fight
Be proud to be serving as a soldier of the light โ Be a
Soldier of the light, soldier of the light
Love is your weapon, the Holy Ghost is your might
Soldier of the light, soldier of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
If you're really fighting on the Savior's side
Don't just sit back breezily and take a free ride
So many souls need saving, don't you turn your head and hide
Love's the only cause worth fighting for
And the truth won't be denied
I said, the truth can't be denied
We are, soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Love is our weapon, the Holy Ghost is our might
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Love is our weapon, the Holy Ghost is our might
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Love is our weapon, the Holy Ghost is our might
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Love is our weapon, the Holy Ghost is our might
Soldiers of the light, soldiers of the light
Fighting for the truth and what is right
