You know I had to do this one for all the man dem In the city of Bristol
All the Kings dem
Running they businesses grinding, let's lift them up
Sat at this high rise window looking out over the city
I see homelessness, addict students, ravers and nitty's,
Thugs and hustlers And S-workers getting paid for they kitty
Everyone gotta make a living, I'm trying to make me a milli
My city is full of kings who learned to do for they self
I'll introduce you to some of them, and I hope it helps
We gotta stand together, help each other accumulate wealth
For the future generations of our lineage and ourselves
You need graphics and VFX, then Ki Usherwood is your man
The game ain't based on sympathy and that's something he understands
That's why 'G.A.B.O.S' is the name of the brand
Then we got Griz Wear by Griz Bear, everyone out here knows about Local Lad
Speaking of bears I gotta mention Greezy, 'Team GBTV'
Bare content on YouTube and them man make it look easy
Oh yeah, got a big mention for Michael Jenkins
The black movie producer, writer, director extraordinaire
If man's hungry, I know a couple spots for you still
Gulu's Kitchen, that's puns place, you might see man on the grill
When you go inside you'll see one of his fam on the till
Gotta respect the way he keeps it in the family for real
You on the other side of town, then it's 'Jerk King'
Shout out to Ashley Burrows and all the 'Malcolm X' staff please stay working,
Love to Style, 'Code Of The Streets', that's a staple in Bris
Then there's the 'Bristol Clothing Pushers' where you can wait while they print
Shout out to Simba, keeping Kuumba alive in the community
A central hub used to promote unity
Aggi the King forever, shout out all of the legends
Some of the best that ever did it, I get to call them my brethrens
If only Plus could see me now, I know he'd be so proud
May he rest in heavenly peace, though still his essence abounds
Marvin Rees gets a mention of course
He went from Mayor of Bristol to a seat in the House of Lords
Clayton Planter taking young kings 'From The Streets To The Boardroom'
If you're trying to come off the road, that's a brother you can talk to
Kevin Philemon founded 'Ujima', now he's on the Beeb
Jasper Thompson out here 'Helping Bristol's Homeless' with charity
Got a big up DJ Krust, Full Cycle, Ronnie Size
Buggsy, Tricky, Alex Bereford and all the man them on the rise
Big up 'Sim City' and 'Rebel Productions', that's foundation
RIP Theo Welsh and thank you for your dedication
Now there's a new generation of artists making new waves
'Canon World', Harts Hose, work rate is insane
Shout out to Grubbo, that's a young lion forged in the flames
I'm gassed for the next generation to take over the game
I know I'm bigging up my black brothers but it's gotta be said
Honourable mention for Krazy, he my brother no less
He's put bare of the man them on in the city of Bris
So I can't talk about kings in the city without mentioning him
Shout out to all of the queens, Maya Jama, Cleo Lake
Krush, Amirah Cole, Skrilla, Peaches Golding, Asher Craig
Too many to mention, but love to them all the same
Because beside every strong king there's a queen light in the way
And lastly, if I didn't mention your name
I apologise, there's way too many mentions to say
Kings Dem, please keep hustling and grinding today
And tomorrow you reap the benefit, Unity is the way
Bristol
