Imagine going back into time
14 years old tryin' to write down these rhymes
There was a part of me that wanted to shine
As a kid tryin' to overcome my own father's demise
It was the music that allowed me to express
I used to hold the pain that would swell up in my chest
We used to play chess, but now I meditate to connect
Feel your spirit every time I reflect
Yes, now you know the root of the music and why I do it
I ain't tryin' to f- with the game, [...?]
I just want to look at the world, try to improve it
And utilize the gifts I was given to make the Lu. hit
Lu. fan pro, luminaries and luminous, movement
We servin' the world, we on a world trip
Overseas flights, doin' all these different shows
Livin' out a suitcase when I'm on the road
Fully abundant, peakin' over the summit
If you look right in front of you, you will see that I'm runnin' it
But I ain't tryin' to get you blinded by the shiny lights
I just want to take you further off to higher heights
Look at all we did; yeah, we made it now
You can tell by all the faces out there in the crowd
Let's have a toast homies; go ahead and lift your cup
We celebratin' life; yeah, we live it up
(Yeah) I got a lot of things to experience in my life
(Yeah) A lot of dreams, a lot of things, before I die
(Yeah) I got a lot of things to experience in my life
So we live it up,
we gonna live it up, we gonna live it up before we die
I've got dreams, and you know dreams turn into schemes
And schemes turn into ways, ways turn into means, I mean
I mean, if it pays to seize most of the day
I could see so many things, that dream coming my way
Like west side limelight, best time of my life
Every single 16 I spit is like 5 mics
I'm so clutched, Reggie Miller three-pointer highlight
Spirit is eternal, but the flesh is so finite
Flyin' out o' L.A.X., what a fine night
Chauffeur make a left, get your mind right
I can't wait just to tell you how
it feels when I'm global, baby global
Yeah, it means a hundred mil
'cause I done battle through the scars like Seal
And now I'm chillin' in the stars like Cher[?]
Movin' so fast, kind of like yes[?]
So scared, I could burn a candle right here, like
(Yeah) I got a lot of things to experience in my life
(Yeah) A lot of dreams, a lot of things, before I die
(Yeah) I got a lot of things to experience in my life
So we live it up,
we gonna live it up, we gonna live it up, before we die
(Before we die, oh-oh)
(I'm gonna make all my dreams)
(I'm gonna be everything)
(Shine my light, make that change)
(Find a way to do my thing)
(I'm gonna make all my dreams)
(I'm gonna be everything)
(Shine my light, make that change)
(Find a way to do my thing)
(Before we die, oh-oh, before we die)
