Let's go, y'all
Tried to do it on my own
But every time I tried to fell down
Got sick and tired of all the pain
I knew I had to turn my life around
Mama said you'd never leave me
Said you'd always be there for me
That's when I laid my burdens down
I traded shame in for my crown
My soul was in the lost and found, oh, ah
Until I laid my burdens down
Now I live to testify
That Jesus' blood was my lifeline
Just surrender to His plans
And He will make your life worth it
When you're weak is when He's strong
I'll tell the world wherever I go
That when I laid my burdens down (down)
I traded shame in for my crown (I see you)
My soul was in the lost and found, oh, ah
Until I laid my burdens down (whoo)
That's when I laid my burdens down
I traded shame in (I traded shame in for my crown), yeah
My soul was in the lost and found, oh, ah
Until I laid my burdens down (whoo, come on sing)
Until I laid my burdens-
Anybody lay your burdens on the altar
Shout it out say, "Until I lay my burdens down," hey
Until I laid- (until I laid my burdens down)
Friends don't treat me like they used to (used to)
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
I feel better, so much better (I feel better, so much better)
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
Burdens down, burdens down (burdens down, burdens down)
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
Burdens down, burdens down, oh, burdens (down), yeah
(Burdens down) whoo, listen
I'm going home to live with Jesus, hey
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
I'm going home to live with Jesus, hey, ay, yeah
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
Glory, glory, hallelujah, hey, ay, yeah
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
Glory, glory, hallelujah, oh
Since I laid my burdens down (since I laid my burdens down)
Since I laid my burdens down (oh-oh-oh-oh)
Since I laid my burdens down (oh-oh-oh-oh)
Since I laid my burdens down (oh-oh-oh-oh)
Since I laid my burdens down
