Yeah
I can feel it
The breakthrough is coming
Let's go
I'm sitting at the desk they gave me
I'm straight putting in a solid 8 on the daily
This is why I went to school so I can make these
Executives richer for whatever they pay me?
Staring at these screens I got a hard time focusing
I can't keep the cubicle walls from closing in
They're piling up all this weight I've been shouldering
I'm about to dip the fuck out with no one noticing
Grabbing a cold one, here hold this shit
So I can post up like on a box of Golden Crisp
Guess a career change might be what the motive is
I told my fam and now they're acting like I'm growing tits holy shit
Hey ma, don't deny you birthed a rap star
But when I visit you I'll keep searching for where the snacks are
I'm out here scaling down rappers like black bars
They're all bent out of shape 'cause they're looking like crash cars
The bank took my whip for not paying in time
Thanks a lot, next sequester I'll be 35
On the hunt to get that money right
Bowling ball in hand hoping for that lucky strike
I'm just waiting for my breakthrough
On the... on the
On the grind
Matter of time until I came through
I'm in a league of my own dimension, the big boss
'Cause I'm the male version of Dottie Hinson, hitting bombs
Pitchers stay out in the pen 'cause they'll never be ready
I'm swinging it heavy while carbing up on Betty Spaghetti
It's a machete I'm holding when I clear the path
I'm the fucking mower deck and you're a plot of grass
Building power and brute strength bro, feeding the beast
It's all in my own hands I don't leave it to priests
I grab the bar with some 45s loaded out the gate
Took your one rep max made it my warmup weight
I'll introduce you to the grown-up state, I'm skull crushing
Arms bulging out like hell, the blood pumping
I'm coming like Arnold Schwarzenegger clips
The body's getting hard like it was made of bricks
I got a strength of mind 'cause there's no escaping the pain
You just added water weight and then mistake it for gains, heh
How's that? Ain't nobody can fuck with this
They wanna hold me down, but I can still come up with this
Got guns on my arms cocked back
I'll be doing curls in the squat rack
While I'm waiting for my breakthrough
Rap... Rap heavyweight
Fuck the wall I'm going straight through
I used to try and sell beats and it was borderline embarrassing
I barely made sales 'cause I wasn't good at spamming
I never stopped caring, not to sound like a Karen
I demanded more attention for cooking some of the rarest
I thought it was that too many had doubts
But really they just didn't see potential like bad scouts
Competing versus questionable marketing ploys, should I dare say?
Artists and their shady tactics gobble up airplay
They buy follows and buy plays, I'm spilling beans
Manipulated rankings are what the people see
So I tried ads thinking they'd reach a billion teens
Now my biggest fans run click farms in Philippines
No biggie though, I'll be glad to give 'em a stream
It's a urinary one so they can listen to pee
I'm here for good now you can admit the defeat
I just took your whole career and pressed Shift and Delete
I'm not on Tik Tok 'cause I don't wiggle the hips
I don't sell the music short by needing gimmicky shit
Got stuff on my To-Do list I have to check off
I'm doing big things like men with fat sex dolls
Breakthrough
I am who I am
Don't let 'em change you
