Lyrics
The smoke clears
I hear your voice in my dreams
I think about you
Not in the way it would seem
Your eyes are ocean
They reel me in once again
Keep getting flashes
Of how it all began
You said Red was my color
I said I'm hard to please
You said write down your number
And kissed me as I leave
If you didn't come over
If you didn't see me
Skin on skin hand in hand
You made me weak in the knees
Said we're friends but I see
Your eyes are lying to me
You said Red was my color
You ruined Red for me
You said Red was my color
You ruined Red for me
Pour me some Stella
Take a shot of whiskey
I go numb when I see you
Does your girlfriend not see
In the way you looked at me
In the way you held me
Maybe blue was her color
Left me melancholy
If you didn't come over
If you didn't see me
Skin on skin, hand in hand
You made me weak in the knees
Said we're friends but I see
Your eyes are lying to me
You said Red was my color
You ruined Red for me
You said Red was my color
You ruined Red for me
