I've lost before I started
It's all in who you know
I'm sick of juggling everything struggling
To keep my demons out the way while I run the race
I've been keepin' it real, just like I ought to
It don't feel the way they say it's supposed to feel
Big waves
Better write it down I'm gonna make big waves
Not holding me down I'm gunnin' for big waves
Crashing all around I'm gonna make big waves
Not holding me down holding me down
I'm sleeping with the lights on
The dark makes my skin crawl
The hopes and dreams I held so dear are dearly departed
There's nowhere left to go but up
Big waves
Better write it down I'm gonna make big waves
Not holding me down I'm gunnin' for big waves
Crashing all around I'm gonna make big waves
Not holding me down holding me down
The surf is crashing on my head getting salty on my dreads
Locked in a riptide making TikToks from my bed
We got stuck inside our reality is dead
I'm a grain of sand in the ocean
See the crest of the wave I want the festival dates
I want the big body Benz I wanna resuscitate
The things that made me okay and then expel all the fakes
I wanna light up the flame and then outrun all the jakes
I miss the things we used to do on them late nights
Watch a movie, then we make some music, what a great night
I love seeing all my homies under stage lights
I'm alive again we kept it real we reaching great heights
Big waves
Better write it down I'm gonna make big waves
Not holding me down I'm gunnin' for big waves
Crashing all around I'm gonna make big waves
Not holding me down holding me down
Not holding me down holding me down
Crashing all around all around
Not holding me down holding me down
Crashing all around all around
Not holding me down holding me down
