Lyrics
The recognition of the presence of love
Is the first step towards becoming a more complete being
Without love in your life, what do you have?
Spite, fear, hatred, the tools of a weakling
My all-eye seeing, triple-optic offerings
Enriched without lining these pimp's coffers
From my doctor's first slap on the back that got me coughing
To the coffin, I opt to explore my options
What is it to just be trying?
First of all you need silence, just be quiet
Open your mind, open it wide, hear the unspoken
Ancient rooms, feel the pain of ancient wounds
Yet to heal and accept it
Follow no precepts to perfect your perception
Reception's the first step to ascension
Reject this and yo, you just missed your lesson
You manifest as your ancestor's reflection
What they learned is in you, it penetrates to your sinews
Information they send you
A coded message amidst your DNA sequences
To know yourself is to know your essence
Yeah, and then that knowledge will become infectious
Right, this is the jewel that is truly precious
Uh huh, the best part is we all possess it
To love yourself you must know yourself
Got to love yourself to know yourself
And you can't love no one else 'til you love yourself
Got to know yourself to love yourself
Hounded by the devil for a crime I won't commit
Mike an urban rebel with a nine by my stomach
Bludgeoning my enemy, they cannot run from it
They wanna hang me from a tree or make me join the government
To all the public I tell you hold your covenant
You will do the right thing when you put some love in it
Meditate, levitate, elevate, discover it
Never wait, hesitate, 'less you late for mothership
Brothers and sisters we need to come with it
Some of them missed on this freedom that we get
We got some liberty but do we really benefit?
We were not considering that we may see the end of it
Rendering you helpless by the single scent of it
They call it sarin gas, take away your innocence
So I give thanks and praise to his preeminence
It's the love and peace, universal infinite
