Lyrics

This is the season set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ A time when peace reigns in the Earth A special time of our Lord and Savior's birth This is the season when we share good Folks with men and women everywhere We think of giving gifts, receiving too But have you thought about God's gift to you? It's the season of Christmas joy Oh, yeah While you're passing out gifts and toys Take time to remember the real joy was the gift- Gift- ... God- God- ... Gave us Gave us It's the Father's perfect plan For Christ to dwell in the hearts of man His hope is that we'd all come to see Christ was his gift Oh Don't forget the reason for the season Don't forget it Don't forget the season has a reason Don't forget Don't forget Jesus Christ- Jesus- ... He is the reason for the season Ooh This is the season when we find our hearts Are filled with love to all mankind The pain and suffering each may feel, we try to ease, we try to heal This is the season when we see how we could live in perfect harmony Each one caring for one another, walking Hand-in-hand with love as our banner Oh, as this feeling, we could keep We could keep There'll be no war then, only peace There'll only be peace For love to dwell within every heart In every heart Each one would do their part Do their part It's the Father's perfect plan For Christ to dwell in the hearts of man His hope is that we'd all come to see Christ was his gift Oh 'Cause this gift is now to you and me Don't forget the reason for the season Don't forget it Don't forget the season has a reason Don't forget Don't forget Jesus Christ- Jesus- ... He is the reason for the season Ooh Don't get too hassled with shopping and things And miss the real joy the season brings Running to and fro, find this and that I want you to know that's not really where it's at This is the season set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ A time when peace reigns in the Earth This is the time of our Lord and Savior's birth This is the season when we share good Folks with men and women everywhere We think of giving gifts, receiving too But have you thought about God's gift to you? It's the season of Christmas joy Yeah, yeah, yeah While you're passing out gifts and toys Take time to remember the real joy was the gift- Was the gift- ... God- God- ... Gave us Gave us It's the Father's perfect plan For Christ to dwell in the hearts of man His hope is that we'd all come to see Christ was his gift Oh 'Cause this gift is now to you and me Don't forget the reason for the season Don't forget it Don't forget the season has a reason Don't forget Don't forget Jesus Christ- Jesus- ... He is the reason for the season Oh Jesus Christ is the reason for the season Yes, he is Oh, yes It's time to celebrate It's time to celebrate Jesus Christ is the reason for the season He's the reason Oh, yes It's time to celebrate It's time to celebrate Jesus Christ is the reason for the season He's the reason Yes, he is Oh, yes It's time to celebrate Time to celebrate Jesus Christ is the reason for the season Jesus Christ Oh, yes It's time to celebrate Jesus Christ!
