Came from cruising 95, blowin' blunts for the fun of it
Now I'm hungrier than pun when he dropped capital punishment
Rappers get numbers but me I'm going hard for the love of it
Packin' luggage, travel documents that's stamped with my government
I seen rookies fumble but never get the chance to recover it
Puttin' they savings in singles, hoping someone discover it
How I started, just a dream to make me and my mother rich
Now its foundations, LLCs and financial benefits
Old me thought that money propagated malevolence
Now I see it really only magnify what ya essence is
Came up strugglin', future desolate
Livin' desperate
See me now, straight definition of what a blessing is
Yea we got a while to go
Farther than we came already
But I sharpened the style, the flow, so I'm aimin' steady
The final deadline, don't forget me
'Cause when I pass through, I blast too, and dawg I'm coming heavy
I think back and I'm grateful I got to grow up
Never got caught up, in the sets that my homies throw up
They understand my perspective and know that I respect it
But my vision intersecting with destiny, on the glow up
You know I got love for my homies that held me down
Young kid lonely 'cause my father ain't came around
They was there, even though we went through all the drama
That's my brothers and I put that on my mama, think I finally found
That type of peace I was lookin' for as a youngin'
Tryna climb the mountain, but I couldn't see the summit
Yea we fucking struggled but what's more, I learned from it
Since then, kept the pen movin' with these words running
You sit and listen, you might learn something
No pot to piss in, ambition made tables turn from it
So much ashes from the L, fill a urn from it
Like rest in peace to the game, see how far we came
