Lyrics
October winds lament around the castle of Dromore
But peace is in her lofty halls, my dearest treasure store
Though autumn winds may droop and die, her bud of spring, are you
Singing hush-a-bye loo loo loo loo lan, hush-a-bye loo loo loo
Bring no ill wind to hinder us, my helpless babe and me
Dread spirit of black water banks, Glenowen's wild banshee
And holy Mary pitying in heaven for rest at soon
Singing hush-a-bye loo loo loo loo lan, hush-a-bye loo loo loo
Take time to thrive, my rose of hope, in the garden of Dromore
Take heed, young eaglet, 'til your wings are feathered fit to soar
A little rest and then the world is full of work to do
Singing hush-a-bye loo loo loo loo lan, hush-a-bye loo loo loo
Singing hush-a-bye loo loo loo loo lan, hush-a-bye loo loo loo
