You know, there's only one thing I don't like about Christmas
What's that, Big Bird?
Waiting for it to arrive
Oh, Big Bird (hah, hah, hah)!
No, it's truth
I've been counting the days since last Christmas
Well, Big Bird, there's one thing you can do to make waiting easier
What's that, Ernie?
Sing!
That's what I was afraid you would say
And we've got the perfect song for you
Hit it, guys!
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count (hear that, Big Bird?), counting the days
(Hey, yeah, Ernie, hey, that's all right) Count, count, count, counting the days
(Counting the days, right) Count, count, count, counting the days
(Ha, ha, ha, ha, that terrific idea!) I love Christmas
I love Christmas, oh, oh
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) 'til Christmastime is here
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) been waiting since last year
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm happy to say
(Count, count, count, counting the days) Christmas will be there any day
Count, count, count, counting the days
(Oh, yeah) Count, count, count, counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) the Christmas day is due
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the hours
(Count, count, count, counting the days) and the minutes too
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm happy to say
(Count, count, count, counting the days) Christmas will be there any day-ay
I love Christmas, oh, oh
I did my Christmas shopping
Way back in July
In June, I set up my Christmas tree
In August, I polished the runners of my sleigh
I only wished that Christmas was today-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) 'til Christmastime is here
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) been waiting since last year
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm happy to say
(Count, count, count, counting the days) Christmas will be there any day
Count, count, count, counting the days
(Oh, yeah) Count, count, count, counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days too
(Count, count, count, counting the days) but for a different reason
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) 'til Christmas day is gone
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days
(Count, count, count, counting the days) it's been here for too long
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm happy to say
(Count, count, count, counting the days) Christmas will be soon be on its way, heh, heh, heh, heh
I know, Oscar
I wrote my note to Santa
Way back in July
I mailed one for Rubber Duckie, too
Hey!
Me made lots of cookies
For Santa Claus to try
Ah, but couldn't wait
Me eat them all but two
Oh, me so sorry!
(Count, count, count, counting the days) counting the days (yeah!)
(Count, count, count, counting the days) 'til Christmastime is here (that's right!)
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm counting the days (oh, yeah!)
(Count, count, count, counting the days) waiting since last year (sing it!)
(Count, count, count, counting the days) I'm happy to say
(Count, count, count, counting the days) Christmas will be there any day
Count, count, count, counting the days
(Woah, yeah) Count, count, count, counting the days
(Count, count, count, count) count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days (isn't that greatly good?)
(Yes, it's great. I just wish I could count higher than twenty, heh, heh)
I love Christmas, oh, oh
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days (how much longer is this gonna go on?)
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
(One, two) Count, count, count, counting the days
Count, count, count, counting the days
