Around The World (La La La La La)

The lyrics describe the sudden pleasure of discovering a catchy song and feeling carried along by it. At first, the speaker is absorbed by sunlight, unfamiliar music, and a tune that is hard to put into words. The mood grows from private delight to shared excitement: the melody seems to spread, and everyone joins in. The repeated “la la” suggests that singing together can matter more than having a clear message.

Several images express this feeling. “The kisses of the sun” is a warm, affectionate way to describe sunlight on the speaker; taking it “in my eyes” suggests enjoying the brightness fully. The tune going “around my head” means it keeps playing in the speaker’s thoughts, like an earworm. Calling music “the key” implies that it opens a way to connect with others, even when words fail.

The song can be heard as a celebration of music’s simple, universal appeal, rather than a story with a detailed plot. “Around the world” may describe a tune spreading widely, but it also conveys a feeling of people being connected through rhythm and singing. The lyrics do not explain exactly what the melody means to the speaker; that openness is part of the effect, letting the sound itself carry the emotion.
