(Verse 1)
Before my prime
I took the orange lime
With my stuff kicks
Sometime's dustin'
I fantasize of having bust whips
Romanticize on world tours
Day dreams are interrupted
But colds nights and frosty women ye the one who sucked it
My culture being high drugs, liquor and gambling
Fist fightin with hot heads, pushin pot of flanigan's
Mush is better outlandishing
Tryin' but they cannot win
Then he got scared he lost a grand and brought his hand grenade
I close my eyes and I can still remember Dennis grim
Before she was junkie in the halfway house my hand is in
How do I tell these stories, feels like I can't begin
Living is hard when my grandma got cancer
Jimmy taught me how to be a man
Drawing punches, paying rent
I stay determined for one day I'll be the main event
The past move fast, every day I came and win
All I got is my memories 'cause I can't never see 'em since
(Hook)
I don't need a photograph
I got these memories in my head
And you don't even know the half
So used to the way I live
And I always remember
I never could forget where I came from
And I always remember
Forever like a polaroid picture
(Verse 2)
I've been reading all the signs
I've been speaking from my mind
I've been drinking all the time
That's what they say
Might've broke a couple hearts
Broke a couple laws
When you up against the odds
J the S, live from the land of hope and dreams
Where archangels fly with broken wings
Smoke screams can see the lies MC's
Stealing rhymes OC, stealing lives
Friends I used to admire, expire in his junkies
Begging for change and for the donkeys that haunts me
Like the ghost of XPO cancer in his stomach and lungs
Stole my friend he was barely 31
You know we the one, and refill ease my mind
Haters never see me they just see me on my grind
Never bite my tongue son I need to speak my mind
We on the same page I just read between the lines
(Hook)
I don't need a photograph
I got these memories in my head
And you don't even know the half
So used to the way I live
And I always remember
I never could forget where I came from
And I always remember
Forever like a polaroid picture
(Verse 3)
Kept the skully low on doobie
For those who thought they knew me
My life is like a movie
When these actors write their script wrong
Sick of getting did wrong
So I kept my pace in this race
Blowin' by 'em like the officers I dipped on
Water for cornflakes, serving coco powder
Check hours by the hour
They claiming up like chowder
Our concepts are hard steps
Long leaps, hard times
Real pains that I've learned
I've lost but I've earned
The right to own the night
Gripped the bottle tight
Wickedness and everything I write
Peak into my life
Couple times I had to duck away
Had to block a jab tap into my temple when I write
Mix it in the lab
'Cause I've been battling demons,
But still over achieving a few those
They have my grieving in church
I'm sneaking freezing
Let my mother say my prayers 'cause I'm living in hell
'Cause if I don't belong in heaven then I'm happy I fell
(Hook)
I don't need a photograph
I got these memories in my head
And you don't even know the half
So used to the way I love
And I always remember
I never could forget where I came from
And I always remember
Forever like a polaroid picture
