Ooh, oh yeah
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
ย
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long

I'll praise Him, I'll praise Him
I'll praise Him because He's been so good to me, yeah
ย
When I was down to my last dime, He
Made a way for me, yeah, yes, He did
And I just gotta praise Him, I just
Gotta praise Him, hallelujah, Jesus
When I was down so low, didn't have nowhere to go
He picked me up, turned my life around
Gave me a new direction, yes, He did
There were times when it seemed like everybody else gave up on me
But I kept on believing and God didn't give
Up on me, God didn't give up on me, no, no
I just gotta praise Him, I'll praise Him
He deserves my worship, He deserves my praise
