Lyrics
In this world we're living in we're tempted and tried
Knowing not the reason why Satan drives us aside
But in the Word of God a promise for me and you
Anchored in the blessed Rock of Ages
and I shall not be moved
Anchored in the blessed Rock of Ages
And I shall not be moved
Though the storms around my soul are raging.
He will bring me safely through
He will never leave me nor forsake me.
Oh how sweet to know
Anchored in the blessed Rock of Ages
He will keep my soul
In this Rock of Ages happiness I have found
With His promise that His grace will ever abound
I know the world won't understand from their point of view
I'm anchored in the blessed Rock of Ages
and I shall not be moved
